TLDR: 1) Identical to factory fluid 2) Also great for power steering 3) Use this cheaper fluid with upgraded radiators and magnetic filters instead of buying the most expensive fluids. Use this older/thicker "T-IV/Type-4" formula (instead of the newer "WS/World Standard" formula which is thinner and more expensive) along with external auxiliary coolers, steel braided radiator lines and Magna - Thin Magnetic Filter ( metal housing) for my power steering and my automatic transmission. Filters are changed every year and fluid is "replaced" twice a year (drain cold fluid and refill x1). For the power steering, it is enough to drain oil several times a year, and then pour it into the pump reservoir. There is no need to use super expensive synthetic ATF. Change the fluids at least once a year and there will be no problems. I am currently running this on a stock Lexus IS300 with 200,000 miles. Big external coolers and it BRUTALLY eats up daily driving in 100 degree weather all day without complaint. The steering feels nice and heavy and the pump is quiet. The transmission feels like new no matter how hot it gets.
