The table legs do not "snap" during use so the table will move/shift if you lean slightly, which isn't great if you're sipping a cup of joe put down liquids or food on the table. This happens both on a hard surface and when used on a bed or sofa. It's also very light and closes tightly, so it doesn't take up any space. I've always preferred to stay in the car because if I need to work on something I can get in the back seat of the car and get it done quickly. When I use it at home I'm usually in bed, but as mentioned it's not robust for that, so a lot of reconfiguration is required.
