My son says, "They are comfortable and I love their grip. I can put them on myself." He is almost 4 years old and going to summer camp soon. These shoes will definitely hold up in size all summer as they have room to grow. I wouldn't recommend these for skinny legs, they are perfect for my boy with wide feet many reviewers have said they are a full size up or taller but i disagree, i think they are only half a size bigger but wide so they appear larger if the child doesn't have wide feet.my son's school shoes are a size 8 and have room to grow and are a bit longer.can't comment on how durable they are but since they're half the price of most other shoes it makes up for it I don't mind replacing them if they break.
