I've always wanted to know if higher 12w/mk really matters, so I bought these spacers, 100x100x1.5 12w/mk and 200x200x1.5 mm 6w/mk of the same brand. I have 3 3080's with water blocks on the same cable with external radiator. They are connected in series, so the last card gets the hottest water. before the new Pads Mining Card 1 92C (ASUS TUFF with BYKSKI Waterblock) Map 2 78C (EVGA HYDROCOPPER, Untouched) the heat sink was not sufficient or the last card got too hot. So I decided to swap out the pads and do a little experiment to see if the 12 watt pads are actually better. I used 12 watt pads on the worst card and 6 watt pads on the middle card. 84CC card 2, 78C flawless card 3, 12w pads, 68C! I didn't expect a 30 degree difference at all. blown away. Now the wheelbarrow block outperforms copper hydro by 10°C and absorbs the hottest water. In summary, the 12W pods are amazing. However, the 6W pads are definitely better than the standard pads and for the same money you get a 4-way pad. quite a value. If you are cooling any card other than 3080 or 3090, this will do. The 12W 100x100 pads are enough for a few cards. maybe at least 5. 200 x 200 is four times easier. hope that helps
