This is a quirky organizer
Putting it together was easy until you do it out of order. 2 of The plastic joint connections broke during install so I had to move one to the outside and hope nothing happens to the other one so the stability is maintained. Try your best not to forget a step and I think that will keep that from happening to you. I wish there was more height between shelves. I know you could just remove a shelf if you have taller shoes but I got this to put as many as possible and some tennis shoes won't fit which was a bummer. Was stuck putting flip flops and short shoes inside instead of the ones I wanted. This is ok but would like something better for what I paid for it.
