Review on TCP Global Complete Buffing Polishing by Roger Weinmunson

It will not remove 2000s scratches and burns very easily. Just before Labor Day weekend

The 100% wool professional rug advertised is probably not wool and if it contains wool it probably contains other synthetics. After color sanding to 2000 grit on new paintwork with Maguiar's M105 Compound it removes no 2000 grit scratches and burn marks very easily. Just before Labor Day weekend, I ran to my local auto body shop and bought a 100% 3M Perfect-it Wool Rug designed for use with their Perfect-it system. The 3M pad costs the same as this whole system, but it quickly removes 2000 grit scratches and doesn't tend to burn even with continued buffing after the compound has dried. My guess is that the pad in this kit contains a low melting point synthetic fiber that heats up and wants to stick to the paint, causing high friction, heat and burning. I think you get what you pay for. and buffing a good quality clear coat, BUY a good wool rug. Now I recommend 3M Perfect based on experience. But I'm sure the original Meguiars 100% wool lining will work as well. On the positive side, the adapter works perfectly and fits the 3M Perfect-it Pad. Foam pads are probably suitable for M205 polish used after M105.
