I have a high mileage Cadillac with a Northstar V8 engine so blown head gaskets are a constant concern. In less than half an hour in your own driveway you can get your test results. There is enough test fluid for multiple tests as long as your coolant is free of exhaust residue and you can save the fluid for future use. I keep used but usable e-liquid separate from the original bottle in a small Tupperware style container. Have a special turkey buster and a clean gallon container on hand to hold the coolant, which will need to be removed to create an air space at the top of the car's coolant reservoir. My car has a tiny coolant leak somewhere so this kit is perfect for determining if it is a cooling system leak or a blown head gasket.
