Fits poorly on computer components

I have a Merc 6900xt 319 and nowhere says it doesn't fit. After about 3 hours of fiddling, I finally managed to get it to fit crookedly into the original backplate. None of the holes lined up properly and it was a huge headache to fit in. So not in my system yet, but I'm very nervous. wish me luck
