
these things are claiming their FPM10A modules. Well they don't. This is DY50 or a model number, original FPM10A modules operate at 5V not 3.3V. Because of this the harness had to be rewired to add a 3.3V line to power the damn thing to supply. Once I got it working, it had trouble reading the fingerprints. I use it as a security device and I doubt anyone would want to keep messing around with a damn fingerprint reader. I went back to my legitimate fpm10A and the problem was gone. and it's too late to return it, so I think it's going in the bin.
