I bought this to have fun in the pool with my wife. I understand that "waterproof" doesn't mean "deeply submersible", but I was hoping it would submerge at least a foot under water. It is not at all submersible if used as purchased. I was able to improve the dipping by sealing the plastic seams with epoxy and wrapping the underside of the loading end with plastic wrap. The entire device vibrates similarly to the end of the massage. I lost feeling in my fingers and hand after only pressing the device for about 20 seconds. Vibration settings range from "very strong" at the lowest setting to "can literally cause nerve damage" at the strongest setting. I know because my fingers felt exactly like I'd lost feeling for about a year after mowing lawns with an old mower for hours every week. I do not recommend this device to people who want to preserve their sensitivity. However, this device can be useful for people who already have permanent damage, who have little sensitivity left and who need something very strong to feel something. The device does not always turn on or off. I have to slam it on a hard surface and hit the power button a few times before it turns on. This was probably my worst Revain purchase ever. I'll admittedly give it two stars instead of one because we might try again.
