The adapter works well with my Samsung s8 it was pretty much plug and play and I had to click the pop up. With the latest update and this adapter I can either use the mirror function or use my phone as a touchpad and the external monitor (projector) is the desktop and there are no sound issues. I can use it as usual via the HDMI function. or send a signal to my bluetooth speakers as this is a function of the phone not the adapter. I will most likely buy another one for the TV below.
