Well I just installed it. Maybe I didn't read the reviews carefully enough. Glue sucks. I thought he said he was working with uniden r1, no the tops are curved so there is no flat surface to stick to. Also, the sticky foam they give seems awful. I used zippers and elastics to protect against falling. But it shouldn't be sold or constructed that way, is the company liable if this thing breaks down? I think due to the low price you might be able to do something with it, but I'll probably return it, I find the suction cup attachment is easier. just my two cents
