The socks were the same as regular thin socks but very soft and comfortable. They definitely won't hold up in the wash or my 9 year old boots as they are so thin and poor quality. The first pair had a hole in the sock after 2 socks and 2 washes. I'm keeping them because it's not worth boxing up and sending back, but I consider them a "throw away" pair that I'll use when we can't find his other athletic socks. I don't think it's worth buying.
