Great lens for APS-C, MFT and full frame

NOTE: This applies to Rokinon, Vivitar, ProOptic, Bower, Samyang and other versions of this lens (developed by Samyang ) Few 24mm FF lenses have this aperture. The ones that are aren't usually that cheap. $500 for a good fast lens is a low price. it's surprising, but it's actually pretty widely usable. I didn't have any major issues with glare or low contrast. Use the supplied lens hood. The aperture moves well, as does the focus. Smooth, no stickiness. Even though it's F1.4, it's easy to focus, mainly because it's a wider lens than the 50mm lens, where you usually see F1.4. I mainly use this on an MFT (Micro Four Thirds) camera. with amplifier. With the focal reducer attached, this lens functions as a 17mm F1.0 lens and can be used wide open. With aperture even up to F2 (actually F1.4 when accelerating). It's very bright and sharp. This lens replaced my regular F1.4 25mm lens on my MFT camera. I like the extra width and speed over autofocus and the size advantage the 25mm F1.4 gives me. Vignetting is minimal on an APS-C sensor or even with an MFT+ Focal Reducer. It's pretty heavy for a full-frame sensor, but that's okay. Vignetting is minimal. It's pretty heavy for a full-frame sensor, but that's okay. Vignetting is minimal.
