Review on πŸ“€ Toshiba DVD/VHS Recorder (DVR620) Without Tuner (Discontinued 2009 Model) by Josh Andrews

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good device!

When I found out about this I was actually looking for a "related" product. To buy a VHS-DVD combo, all I needed was a "standalone" DVD burner. my computer, but the quality seemed to lack more than I wanted or expected, so I turned to finding a DVD burner. So the DVD recorder I was looking for was VERY HIGH in price compared to last year when I first came across it. The price went from $140 to hundreds of dollars! But this device was newer and much cheaper! !Now I've had it for several months and have recorded about 12 or more discs. The only problems I had with the recording were me! I made a few mistakes, but these "bugs" still play on a computer, but not on a TV DVD player. I've used the player to play DVDs - one feature I like is "REPEAT" which allows me to play my disc continuously for hours (and I've had that many times). One feature I want to highlight is the INSTRUCTION MANUAL! Yeah right. THE PRINTED WORD! The most important means of communication for centuries! This guide contains step-by-step instructions and is VERY CAREFUL. Gives you detailed instructions on HOW and WHY to do what to record etc. '& 'why' - it tells you what to expect from certain disc types in terms of playability, the quality you can expect when burning a disc for 1 hour or 8 hours. I have read almost the entire guide. I have to say that it was a surprise and a "joy" for me to learn that there are still people who practice real "quality" when it comes to educating the consumer and making sure the company is going the extra mile by telling the consumer how to properly use their product! This is one of the main reasons I rated this product so highly - not only is it a great product in terms of features and performance, but also in terms of educating the consumer on how to use their product! Excellent work!
