It is quite easy to assemble and the materials are strong. The problem comes from trying to screw these things to the wall. Forget drills, squares and most screwdrivers. You need moderate effort to screw these things to the wall. Way more than any other shelf I've installed. But when pulled up, they look good and are durable. Not suitable for video game collections unless planning to host games on discs. Overall I wouldn't recommend them, but they're a good option if you know in advance what you're getting.
