My use case for this is a USB-C dock for my Dell Latitude 5490. Here's what I've tested so far: 4K HDMI works with my laptop desktop display Extension (I haven't tried video streaming or movie playback). However, there was an occasional disconnect that I had to disconnect and reconnect to get the HDMI video back. - Ethernet LAN is working. - USB A (connect to monitor hub) - USB A works - USB C power adapter works (delivers enough power so the laptop doesn't whine) Issue: - Buzzing noise when connecting the USB C power adapter. I have to be careful and not leave it unattended when plugged in. I'm afraid it could start a fire.
