These settings are very easy for beginners. The lights can be cut if you need to connect a strip, but with strips like this you want to make sure you don't see the bare strip itself, the individual LEDs are clearly visible. With Smart Life you can choose almost any color you want for the lighting, but it's always a color. The audio function works, but it's not the same as adjusting the smart lighting to match the scene on the TV, it's just a trick mode for use in a child's room or similar. Overall it's a great bias light (they're 6 pin so L connectors are harder to find), fits 30-46 inch TVs fairly easily, can be USB powered on the TV and is a good one Price. To protect your eyes and make your TV viewing more enjoyable, they're worth even the "set it and forget it" mode.
