Instructions for use were not included with these patches. They work great if you follow a few tips. I read some of the instructions on one of the other similar product listings. Make sure your clothes are clean. 1. The iron must be hot. I set it to cotton/linen. 2. Iron the area to be patched to keep it warm. 3. Slowly iron the patch for a few minutes, then turn it over and iron the other side in the same way. If the sticky side of the patch is showing and can stick to surfaces under clothing, place a piece of waxed paper between the colored patches under the adhesive. The glue will not stick to the shiny side of the paper. 4. Iron both sides again while pressing the iron down. The key here is to iron on both sides by pressing and slowly moving the iron. I washed the clothes in room temperature water and tumble dried them and the patch held up great.
