Worked well for my needs (storage under my laptop and extra height for video calls). But came with a few scratches (see photo) and a chipped corner. And he still had a few scratches the next day, although I tried to be gentle. I believe office equipment should be able to handle light loads without breaking down. Thankfully it's an awkward situation so I'm the only one seeing it, but it definitely won't beautify your desktop.
