That's all I expected. Very high quality, strong, soft and supple in the hand, with a slight drawdown. If you use Cesar's recommended methods, it works like a charm. I've ordered more expensive lines like these in the past, but upon arrival they were thick, stubborn and just plain bulky. It lies perfectly in the hand and if I behave calmly and persistently, my dogs will follow me without any problems. I've seen a lot of questions here about what the extra black metal loop is for. I've seen Caesar use this leash to put a noose around a dog's nose (on his new show) and while he didn't explain it and I can't find a video or photo of the feature, I believe that it is for this and intended. I added some photos how to do it. I'm not sure if we'll need this feature, but it's nice to know I have the option. Essentially, this makes the leader one of those "soft leaders" who have more control over their heads. I may need this for my other dog (shown in background) who is very responsive to wildlife on our walks. This of course makes the line much shorter. It's a "one size" that fits most, but I also just ordered a "large" size because I thought the longer version might work for walking my two dogs on the left side walk. . I couldn't find the length of the "large" variant so I'll let you know when it comes out. If you're familiar with Caesar's methods and how to find quick fixes and get (or want) your dog to follow you, this is a great tool. It takes practice and patience, but my dogs no longer choke on walks and seem a lot happier. Hope this will be helpful!
