These drying towels are thin but soft to the touch. The towels are quite durable. I took a dry napkin and tugged until a piece of the napkin came off completely. I sniffed the napkin without smelling it. These wipes clean my skin well without irritating or drying it out. Our senior likes to use this on her sensitive skin as it doesn't hurt thin skin. I like the build quality of these napkins - 100% cotton. I've used them to clean dirty kitchen countertops. OK. With leftover food, it's difficult to pick up trash if my fingers don't grab the trash. When I wipe the kitchen countertop, the dry cloth moves the dirt. If I wet a dry cloth, it cleans well dust from the window sill, the edges where the kitchen countertop meets the wall, baseboards, etc. When wet, the cloth collects a little more dirt than a dry cloth. When wet, the cloths left streaks when I wiped my glasses and mirrors in the bathroom. clean under running water with soap and reuse. Overall, I find these wipes to be the best for my skin to remove liquid dirt and dust on certain surfaces.
