So far I have been pleased with the performance of this Sandisk product. I've been using Sandisk memory in my Canon DSLRs for a while and have never had a problem with any of their cards. They cost more, but I find reliable CF cards worth it. In terms of performance, the Extreme cards are excellent. Until the buffer is full, my Canon 7D takes about the same number of continuous shots with the Extreme (60MB/s) as with my old Extreme III (about 20 RAW images (18MP) at 8+ fps). However, once the buffer is full, there is a big difference between the two cards. With Extreme III, the camera chokes very quickly and data recording takes significantly longer. With Extreme, I can shoot at about 2 frames per second for a few seconds. Update: I've had two such cards for over a year and a half with no problems. I even accidentally ran one of these through a full cycle in the washing machine, dried it and it still works great. The image data on the card wasn't corrupted, we didn't lose it at all!
