I like the build quality. The aluminum body feels solid and looks good next to my iMac. I used a 3.5" RAID enclosure with two drives to store photos and music. The system has worked well for 5 years, but it is a large, heavy black box that is not very portable. Because I used standard 3.5-inch hard drives in it, the bottleneck for processing photos was the speed of the drives. The 3.5" RAID enclosure alone cost more than this small 2.5" case with a pair of 2TB Samsung EVO SSDs, so it seemed interesting. two WD Firecuda hard drives when copying a large amount of files.
