Total SHOCK for $24.99

First I want to talk about my riding conditions. I have a Trek Verve 2 that I use for commuting and living in Florida I'm concerned about certain road uses so I ride on the sidewalk. Some sidewalks are in very good condition which can make for bumpy rides as well as my travel points causing me to cross railroad tracks and construction. With this cover, wow! It's amazing and it's like a $40-$50 product. - Speaker mount - The clamp is strong and I never get nervous when it comes out. As for the clamp, I can put it on the thickest part of my shaft. Before I bought Trek, I had slimmer mountain bike handlebars with rubber pads that came with them. I never had a problem with steering wheel rotation on either bike. The speaker terminals are super secure and make a nice clicking sound. I didn't encounter any bumps that worried me about coming out or felt like I had to put them back in the brackets. It can be a bit tight to take it off (which I think is a good thing), I try to pull it top to bottom with the D-clip to take it off top to bottom. -- Narrator -- Shit! I didn't expect such sound quality. I was expecting a thinner sound, but it's actually quite full! I also use it at work when crimping, soldering or just working on my computer and I love it! Sometimes I clip it to my jeans when I go for a walk. Haven't used a JBL Clip speaker before but was definitely looking for one for my bike. I have a feeling that minus the IPX7 rating this speaker is actually a great deception (what situation would you be in if this thing was dropped in water for 30 minutes). I like that the D-clip can be removed instead of installed. I haven't had any rain yet, but I'm sure everything will be fine if there is no monsoon for 30 minutes. - Battery - Don't weigh it too much. I use it at work for a few hours of playtime, and the average travel time is probably an hour. I also try to charge it at work and sometimes at home if I think about it. I think you could get up to 7 hours of playback at full volume. It also has an auto power off function after 30-45 minutes, which is very convenient. I haven't timed it and not sure if it's because nothing is plugged in or nothing is playing. But. It is and it is one thing. This is a great feature if you run to the store or accidentally leave it on after storing your bike. Overall, I highly recommend this column. For strollers, scooters, mopeds, bikes, anything that has a handlebar or attachment point, it's perfect!
