Review on Youngtown 2 Sweep Silent Clock Movements with 4 Pack Different Size Clock Hands - DIY Wall Clock Mechanism by Tim Crowder

Two clocks need new mechanisms. Some had the Youngtown movement and the new Youngtown movement snapped in and the original hands matched the new movement. The other clocks did not have a Youngtown movement. However, the new Youngtown movement was actually suitable for use with the mother of the original movement. A slightly longer shaft length would have helped, although the original shaft length was only a millimeter longer. The hands of the original movement did not match the new movement, so I had to use the hands that came with the new movement. As you can see from the photos, the interchangeable hands work but look a bit large for the dial. I would deduct one star for the selection of the supplied hands, but the new movements arrived on both watches after 6 weeks, hence 5 stars!
