I wanted to try these embroidery needle threaders. The hook is so tiny I could only hook a thread to pull it through the eye of the needle. I used 2 or 3 threads for my project, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't. Wire needle threaders work, but they often snap out of the aluminum handle, so they seemed like a viable option. (I'm 72, have arthritis, and don't see as well as I used to when I didn't need needle threaders at all.)
