First of all, they fit great when used with the correct size pillow. These covers are 26 x 26, it is important to use a 28 x 28 pillow so it fills well and the surface is hard. Second, you pay for what you get. These aren't the softest pillows, but they're only used for decoration. The material is rough and scratchy, but not uncomfortable. There was a small stain on the pillow when opened, but I'm sure it will go away with the wash. At $14 for two pillowcases, you can't beat it, especially when you need a quick and easy fix.
