Made of very durable plastic. The installation didn't take long at all. If you were worried about bugging your Jeep, I wouldn't. it is very strong and does not move an inch. At high speeds on the track or pushing in a wash, that's fine. looks great too. I wanted to flip it forward to increase air pressure, but it actually looked a lot better from the windshield. Standing facing the windshield obscures the entire grille, which actually hides small placement errors. You'll understand what I mean when you put it on the jeep to see how you like it better. Like best, very strong, great addition to the jeep, very easy installation. it comes with two bushwhacker emblems that you can stick on the sides of the shovel because it looks really cool.
