Whether this belt is made of leather on the outside is debatable. The inside is NOT leather. It's a hard, smooth plastic material that sounds like a plastic cup when tapped with your fingernails. When I received it the "taped" edges were peeling off and the stitching was loose. Nowhere on this belt is the "leather" marking that is usual for leather belts.
