Haven't played with Slinky in many years and was happy to find Metal here to give to some kids. Compared to the old Metal ones I have played with as a kid, they are stronger and don't tangle as easily, but also have a smaller girth (and possibly length) which means they don't serve their primary function (and my favorite thing) when going down the stairs . You only go down a few steps at a time and then just stumble/fall the rest of the way.
