VERY DISAPPOINTED! The rings were not consistent and they were not resilient like the previous ones I have purchased. I thought it was a steal for 3 Skinny but there's a reason it was at a lower price. The quality was top notch, I will never buy a 3 pack again. The group included two defective tight-fitting straps and one fine. Don't buy three.

These were Christmas gifts for younger cousins. We also put some cash in the box, it looked like the President was looking out the window of the box on the bill. It was a hit. Also, the Slinks themselves proved to be more popular than I thought. Kids actually put their devices away for a while to play with them. One of my cousins used it as a worry toy while watching home school movies. I love getting a standard gift that I hope will be well received. That fits the bill.

Haven't played with Slinky in many years and was happy to find Metal here to give to some kids. Compared to the old Metal ones I have played with as a kid, they are stronger and don't tangle as easily, but also have a smaller girth (and possibly length) which means they don't serve their primary function (and my favorite thing) when going down the stairs . You only go down a few steps at a time and then just stumble/fall the rest of the way.

I remember my slinky going through the ordeal as a kid. a few graceful runs down the stairs, tug of war and constant up and down play, all round play. Unfortunately my daughter went through TWO in just two days. I bought the rest as gifts but looks like my daughter will get the last one too. We couldn't even get him to "walk" down the stairs because he doesn't go up the stairs without bending and stretching. Some things will never be as good as the original.

Definitely not the "Original Slinky" as the title suggests. Slinks are metal and are much better than the plastic that have been around for a while and seem to be well made. However, it is much smaller than the original Slink - smaller in diameter and shorter. That's a problem. This slinky is too small to walk down the stairs. So if you think a slinky should be able to go down stairs then this isn't for you. Nevertheless, they have a pleasant feeling.

I bought these for the same purpose as many others here: to keep squirrels from climbing the poles of our birdhouses. We have three poles so the 3 pack was perfect. Unfortunately, at least one squirrel seems to have figured out how to get up despite slinky. But it's better than the four or five squirrels we had before, and even one of them seems confused at times. Hence one star because it's not a perfect solution. Pros: It's a slinky. A set of 3 contains three Slinkys in separate boxes. Go down the stairs, IF - the tread is not too wide and there is no loose-pile carpet. Typically, this slinky cannot jump far enough to keep moving and tends to cling to the fibers of the carpet. Considering it was priced at $1 in the '40s when the slinky was introduced, $10. The price for three is outrageous. Cons: This new "Original" slinky doesn't look like the original "Original". Although the box says it is original…
