Not sure what their meaning is.

I bought them because I love my model 3 and saw them when I was looking for accessories. Photos of rusty parts scared me so I ordered them. They fit great and are easy to put on which is why I gave this product 5 stars but when I think about it I'm not sure what the point is - none of these pieces look like they've ever gotten wet (in a year since how I got my car) and if so I think the lube would work just as well. a lot of.
