Review on ๐Ÿ’จ CO2 Tank Refill Adapter Kit - CGA320 G1/2 Connector for Filling Soda Maker and Sparkling Water Maker Tanks by David Ramirez

It works. That's great. But it's hard

Oh my god, replacing and refilling Sodastream bottles is too expensive and just not worth it. And I can charge it for $20. I have refilled 10 bottles of Sodastream so far and am still counting. As others have said, open the valve on the main tank very slowly. And I mean VERY SLOWLY. I almost gave up until I reread the reviews and tried again. "SO SLOW". I have now filled 7 CO2 bottles without any problems. As mentioned, that's true, and some of the Sodastream bottles have a tricky valve and if you try to apply too much pressure too quickly, it will shut up inside and you'll have to start over. (Maybe they want you to buy more bottles? Or maybe a safety feature to keep you from blasting the bottle with too much pressure.) Either way, it's tricky. My simple guide? 1. Screw the adapter onto the main tank.2. Screw the Sodastream bottle onto the adapter.3. Start slightly opening the main tank until you hear a hiss, then STOP, leave it alone and let it fill up. Keep an eye on the sensors as they align. When it stops sizzling, open the main valve slightly until done. *As mentioned, I don't use the valve on top of the Sodastream bottle because it still allows flow into the bottle. Some people say you have to freeze Sodastream bottles first. This will get more gas in the bottle. But I'm not worried. I don't get much out of them, but I don't see much difference in them.
