Pure Magic - It takes a minute to get straight to your bookshelf, but it's worth it

Japan Old Town miniAlley Book corner Book corner Book corner Book corner Book corner When I saw this beautiful bookcase I knew I had to have it. I've seen stuff like this on social networking sites occasionally, but never bothered to look for it. Boy did I miss it. This magical thing added a lot to my bookshelf and everyone who saw it loved it! This beautiful bookcase insert arrived in good condition, although I had to bend the little light a bit to get it back in place because it was knocked over in transit. Otherwise no problem. The deployment is very easy to set up; Just put in a few batteries and you're done. The insert is wood and the wood is a bit rough so be careful when placing it between books as the texture may rub against your books. The stakes are also deep; I had to slide a couple of books off the edge of the bookshelf to fit in the insert. I first put it on the shelf just below eye level, but moved it just above eye level. Unfortunately, the magic is somewhat lost when looking down at the insert because the angle distorts the mirror and spoils the illusion. But - at eye level or a little higher - perfect. I enjoyed sending photos and showing them to visitors because they really liked the look of the work. It has rich colors and the light is easy to turn on and off with a small switch. I like to turn it on and sit next to it while reading - it adds to the atmosphere. This piece is expensive but handmade and a pleasure to have at home. It will also be a great gift. Highly recommended.
