This is a great addition to my metal detector kit. It's a little awkward at first until you get the hang of it, but it refines the date on the coins, which are legible but need a clearer view. It comes in a plastic case to protect it when not in use. This case is durable as I accidentally dropped it and it protected the jewelry glass. It has some weight, but not enough to make it unwieldy. It fits perfectly in my case that I use for metal detection. I highly recommend this for coin collectors, jewelry connoisseurs and metal detectors.
