We bought this product to replace one we have had for several years. We use it to make our tomato sauce. It removes the seeds and produces a thick liquid that we use to brew canned sauce. I still peel tomatoes, but removing the seeds is a plus. There's nothing like a jar of homemade tomato sauce. Canning is work, but it's worth it because I know exactly what's in the jar. We have 2 of these presses in case one breaks while canning. I think it works with other fruits and veggies, but I've only used it with tomatoes. Great product and worth it!
