This gadget saved the grip. I picked up a project bike with a broken handle from someone trying to remove the flywheel. There was a crappy carving after grinding the mushroom part, I didn't want to risk it as it removes too much material, so I took this gadget. Just let the thread cleaner run back to the good side a few times and the nut finally caught on. He kept the crankshaft, which is also obsolete.
