Dishwasher safe, but not dishwasher compatible

These hold up fine in the dishwasher, but the bottoms have 1/4" recess that acts as a mini-cup to hold the water when upside down in the dishwasher. Can't empty the dishwasher without water spilling everywhere. The bottom should be serrated . Too bad, because an otherwise good product.
