Review on Dorman Solutions 902 2024 Coolant Thermostat by Marc Gallner

Good product. Fits perfectly on my '64 Lemans with the Gates 20983 upper radiator hose originally designed for the '69 GTO. I am currently using a Griffin aluminum heatsink. The hose flange O.D. is 1 5/8 inch, like every Pontiac V8 I've seen, and the standard size radiator hoses don't leak. The only drawback is the aluminum housing. It used to be cast iron and bulletproof, but now that it's aluminum it needs to be tightened lightly and is only good for 2-3 reuses before it warps or cracks.
