Wow! I was so hesitant to spend that kind of money, but also so disappointed with the lack of consistent quality in my YouTube live streams using USB 3.0 capture cards (also Magewell) as well as a separate internal StarTech PCIe HDMI capture card (this was questionable with regarding OBS compatibility and no Google Hangouts or Skype compatibility!) This Magewell Pro Capture Quad HDMI appears to have a much better frame rate, with consistent video and audio quality, and is recognized correctly by OBS, Skype and Google Hangouts. I think the price is too high - I'm not sure where you would find replacement fans if the one he has eventually fails. If the card cost $400 to $600, it would be a steal. For now, this card should only be considered by those with deep pockets or businesses.
