I bought it because it attaches to my phone for photos and it's easy to use. I didn't have enough time to know how the optics would hold up, but it works as advertised and is easy to use. The included tripod is a joke because it's very small - if you want to use it with a tripod you'll need to invest in something much more serious than what the seller is offering. However, it's worth the price and the tripod size is a bit of an issue. I am happy with it and I have no problem recommending it to any average user.
