I was trying to install a P2 500GB SSD into a Dell Inspiron 3671 desktop computer. The first problem was that the computer didn't recognize the P2 SSD. After some searching I found a way to get the computer to recognize the SSD. This time the Acronis cloning program did not recognize the SSD. I've contacted Crucial Technical Support twice with no success. Both gave me an answer. After a few more searches, I cloned my existing 128GB drive using Macrium Reflect. This time, the Crucial P2 500GB SSD only showed 139GB of total storage. The Crucial tech support rep I contacted was clueless. This person kept telling me that since I cloned 128GB I can only get 128GB even though I told this person I want to upgrade to get more space. Finally I gave up. I reinstalled my 128GB SSD and reinstalled a 500GB Crucial P2 SSD.
