The monitor battery stopped charging after 4 months

Ikare is said to support 720p resolution, but the resolution of the monitor didn't impress me. Focus is soft and colors are washed out, especially when looking out the window. You can change the contrast to counteract this, but it makes the image look dull and dirty. With the TV in the background, the camera is constantly trying to correct color and light source, making loud clicks and randomly switching between color and black and white. The camera has a wide field of view, which is difficult to find in a child. Systems, so that's a plus. The camera's pan and tilt mechanics are a bit choppy and sometimes slow to respond. This is my first touchscreen monitor, but I've found that I prefer the ones with separate control buttons. I would definitely prefer it if the conversation controls didn't take up part of the screen all the time. The motion alert worked well for the most part, and I love that you get both audible and visual alerts. The alarm will beep every few seconds until you touch the screen again. However, the voice alarm gave me problems. I had to turn it on at the monitor first and then restart the camera by turning it off before it worked. Simply turning the camera off with the power button didn't work as it kept turning off and not staying on. I don't like the battery life as you only get 4 hours on a full charge. When charging (which lasted 7 hours) the only external indicator is a very faint red light under the case where the reset is located. You can only see this light when the room is dark, and it turns green after it's fully charged. The lullabies sound a bit dull and the third doesn't work at all on my device, it just hisses. Although the other four options have been played. The temperature sensor is off at 17 degrees and I can't find a way to turn it off so it doesn't show up on the screen. Updated and added: After 4 months of almost daily use, up to 8 hours at a time, the monitor battery stops charging. I can't even just leave the monitor connected to the network. The title screen will appear for a second and then turn off no matter how long it is plugged in. The camera itself is good, but useless without a monitor.
