I have ordered six of these. By far the hardest thing about them is pairing, which involves pressing a somewhat soft button three times in quick mode. Continuity. Out of seven tries, I didn't even get it on the first try. I say seven even though I ordered six because after getting one of them set up correctly when I plugged it in where I was going to use it the circuit breaker tripped. and immediately stopped working. (It also smells a bit like "burnt electronics".) But the manufacturer replaced it immediately with no issues, so it wasn't a big deal. The documentation mentions that the device flashes pink under certain conditions and green under other circumstances. And indeed *there* is a pink LED. But the button cover in front of it is either translucent blue or light green, so it's pretty hard to tell what color the LED is blinking. (Not impossible, just pretty tricky.) Like all wired Z-Wave Plus devices, they act like repeaters, and that seems to work fine. Watts and kWh (since reset). Haven't done anything with it yet but seeing the numbers really got me thinking about keeping those old Christmas string lights! For reference, I've used them successfully with the Homeseer HS3 ZEE S2.
