The toe box is narrower than the previous model, but not as disappointing is the lack of a full-length rubber outsole, which lengthens the length of the shoe. Check out the first picture above. Note the white area that is completely chewed up. I've only ridden this shoe 30 miles or less and it's showing a lot of wear. This material is most likely part of a soft midsole designed to cushion the foot. The second shoe is an older 1080v model. Pay attention to the outsole, which increases the length of the shoe. I play in heels and have walked at least 120 miles in these shoes. Same model. Best run.
