Kitchen and cooking wax residue

I love the idea but this product has some downsides. First off, the ice I've made in these bowls leaves a waxy residue in the water that solidifies in your favorite drinking vessel. I have rinsed these trays thoroughly many times before use and tested the cubes from multiple ice trays by placing the cubes in a clear glass of water. What's left is the rest. In addition, water spills very easily when placed in the freezer.
