Review on CQR Men'S Flex Stretch Tactical Pants - Water Resistant Ripstop Cargo, Lightweight EDC Outdoor Hiking Work Pants by Mario Hinton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Shi-shi-SHAH! Behold the trousers!

I ordered the Flex Zip in 36x32. I normally would wear a 34x32 but I might get chubby again so I chose to early on the side of caution. And. Wow. I love these. They can accommodate my Samsung Galaxy 9 in the thigh gadget pocket. Its tight but not too tight (the phone). Ive been looking for a pair of tactical pants that fit more tastefully than your average truspecs with a dedicated phone pocket AND reinforced pocket webs for knives and EDC lights (you know -- for the pocket clips). these are them. Excellent. Anyway, I can squat, kneel, raise my knee. no problems with range of motion. I do have a posterior that typically disagrees with anything 5.11. So that problem is a non issue for those of you who share my curse. I have complete confidence in these as far as that goes even in the face of the sweaty knee phenomenon. I havent washed them yet so I can't speak to how that may change things. Hopefully they dont shrink too much. In anycase, I am pleased. So, for those who need to know, you have standard hip pockets, standard butt pockets, a pair of popcorn pockets, a separate pair of zipper accessible pockets, a pair of cellphone sized pockets sharing the same flap as the popcorn pockets, a small accessory pocket on the right side thigh, and a pair of ankle pockets. There are no internal magazine dividers like some tactical pants have but who uses that anyway. Well worth the money. And it seems these are in high demand, so if they have your size and desired color in stock, for the love of heck, ORDER A PAIR! If you dont like it, you can return them. But you'll keep them. I know you will. Again, feel free to go a couple inches up on the waist, I did. It worked out. If you carry IWB, you'll be glad you did.

Pros
  • The water-resistant ripstop fabric means that these pants can handle anything Mother Nature throws your way
Cons
  • The zipper on the pants tends to get stuck
