This case kicks a$$. Similar to the Gumdrop cases for iPad. It's got a rugged plastic front part that slides onto the phone. You then slide that into the rugged back cover, button sides first and then make sure you press all the edges along the rim of the screen to be sure it seats properly. I didn't have no problems with button operation nor the dust covers that others mention. I did not experience the problem with the screen protector that others had as well. My Moto X4 touchscreen worked fine and was responsive even with the screen protector. I didn't have to put any more effort than I do without the case. Gives me peace of mind that my Moto X4 is well protected.
