I ordered according to the age/measurement grid. The child is 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 38 pounds. Narrow legs, short legs at 3 inches. Be sure to order at least one size larger. They appear to be well made. Note: Please note that they are not waterproof. They are also NOT "down" as advertised. They are ground microfiber. I know because I took them apart and added the top to a pair of longer winter waterproof pants. I was expecting something different than what I got but found a way to make it work for me. I would say they are just fine.
